Bright Frosty Mornings
Today was the first frosty morning of the year. As I went outside sort of almost running late I was struck by a frozen car. Having not been used to this yet this year I quickly went to work de-icing and warming it up.
Apart from the inconvenience which was partly my fault for leaving the house later than planned I wasn’t at all bothered. It meant that frosty views would line my drive into uni.
Now it’s fairly impossible to take good pictures whilst driving and I absolutely wouldn’t recommend it. But when you get caught in traffic and are at a stand still you try your best.
It was a magical frosty morning and even more so when I looked in my rear view to see a stunning golden orange sunrise behind me. The moon still large above surrounded by pastel tones contrasted nicely with this bright bold sunrise. It flooded the sky and clouds with light and vivid shades of orange and purple. It struck me as I was driving how beautiful and lucky I was to be able to witness and notice such wonder.
And I wondered how many others had noticed it or been too busy getting to wherever they were going to notice it too.?
